Booking Procedures and Payments

Each booking is accepted under the following conditions.

Deposits

A provisional booking will be held for 14 days then a deposit of 10% is requested to confirm your reservation. This is non-refundable if a cancellation is made.

Final numbers & pre orders - these should be confirmed to us no later than one month before the reception date, minor increases can be catered for, however in the event of reduced numbers; we regret it will be necessary to charge for the confirmed amount.

Disco hire/ Live entertainment

Due to licensing requirements playing of music must end at midnight, smoke machines are not permitted.

Marquee hire

This is to be arranged direct through the Thatch Ltd and the leasing company.

Floral arrangement

The hotel The Thatch does supply a complete floristry service

Additional entertainment

You are welcome to provide entertainment, such as garden games.

Bouncy castle

We must comply with the insurance permits issued by the leasing company.

Acts of God

The hotel The Thatch will not be held responsible for acts of god, i.e. adverse weather conditions, mechanical breakdown of equipment, breakdown of equipment supplied to the hotel from outside sources, power failure, fire, flood or theft.

Final Payments

You are welcome to pay additional deposits to cover the final costs of your function, but final payments must be paid on the day of the function.

Menus are valid for the 2010/2011 season

Wine list correct at time of printing

10% service charge is added to your final bill for food and beverage service

All prices are inclusive of VAT.
